The Prince’s Trust still has spaces for their ‘Get into Customer Service’ course which focuses on the Leisure and Beauty industry. This course is an employability course which will suit anyone interested in working within a customer service or reception capacity within a salon, spa or hotel services environment.

The training takes place within a city centre location so is accessible for anyone! Not only does the course teach all aspects of being able to promote high levels of customer service (which is transferable into many other areas), but course participants will gain experience of some beauty treatments such as eye care, manicures, make up and general personal grooming as well as completing a work placement with employers potentially looking to recruit.

Their ‘Get Started with Hair and Beauty’ course is an ideal introductory taster to the industry based at the City of Glasgow College. This one week course will teach the basic skills of hair styling, tanning, nail art, skin care and make up. Taught by college experts, young people will be able to show off their newly learned skills to friends and family and gain up to 3 months support to secure a next step.
