I've put together some initial information below, for those about to book their first holiday...
Whatever holiday you decide to embark on there will always be one lead passenger who will be asked to be point of contact and responsible for things like payments, holiday information/documents & making sure that the holiday gets paid off on time. Whoever you decide to be the lead passenger is effectively in charge of your holiday.
Being the Lead Passenger
In every holiday booking one individual will be asked to be the lead passenger of the group, this includes:
- Making sure everyone pays their own holiday cost
- That the holiday gets paid off on time
- They will be in charge of any addition holiday documents for example, flight/hotel vouchers, insurance that they will have to present to airport & hotel staff
- Being responsible for their own holiday check list!
Make sure you choose someone reliable & responsible when picking a lead passenger.
You will find the explanation of a lead passenger on any holiday provider website, here is an example of a lead passenger description that you will find under the heading ‘making a booking’.
